There just hasn't been much to say, really. Liam saw his first fireworks this July fourth. I don't know which he liked better, the actual fireworks or the fact that he got to stay up two hours past his bedtime! He's liking the summer program at school, too. His speech is improving every day.

As for me, I'm hanging in there...fanfiction is pretty much at a standstill, actually, with my current Work in Progress...I'm scheduled to get Chapter 10 done this week if it's the last thing I do! I'm trying not to let the computer eat up my whole day, but it's difficult...I think the machine has some sort of tractor beam...*eyes computer suspiciously*...

Nicholas saw the fireworks for the first time this year, too. He was SO excited that he not only got to stay up late, but (gasp) eat popcorn!

We're very fortunate in that the city fireworks display takes place at a field located about a block directly in front of our house. We miss a few of the displays that are close to the ground, but for the bigger ones, we've got a perfect view without even leaving our front step...

That sounds great! We had to park on Route five and climb a hill...fun going down it in the dark, yeah! Liam did okay, though. "Want more fireworks?"

They were quite nice, I hadn't been out for the fireworks for a couple of years. It was a great night.
