hey remember the last post where I said I was continuing with my classes?

Nope. We expressed some issues with Teacher's description of the seperation between S and us as "amicable". We pointed out to her in seperate e-mails that No, this is not "amicable", it is anything but, and that I stated that I could not be expected to maintain a relationship with someone in "perfect love and perfect trust" who has called us a liar.

She then sent us an e-mail basically booting Joe from the class for "anger issues" and said I could continue.

Yeah, no. I'm done.

And I am no longer sad about it, I'm just fed up. This situation was handled extremely badly. And I'm just done.

Now I get to work on me, myself, and I spiritually. I will not have to worry about "Offending" someone else, I can decide for myself what's important, and what I need to work on.

I just kinda wish it would have gone differently.

Well... it is what it is, and sometimes it's just as well that the decision's made for us, I guess, because it frees us up to go on to better things.

You'll find what you need. Doesn't mean it doesn't still feel messy, though.

Yeah, it feels hella messy, but still...honestly I think it's a relief. Some things did not sit right with me about Teacher, even though I do like her and appreciate her knowledge. Honestly I can work with anyone, even people I dislike, but it did feel as if she was trying to dismiss our feelings after less than a week. It was poorly handled and rather hurtful.

But hopefully that's the last of it and I can just get up and do what I need to do for me.

It sounds like you would never be able to trust the teacher. I'm sorry that it ended like this, but you wouldn't have felt at ease because of the way your husband was treated. The positive is that you're strong and able to let it go.

Yeah, that's true. It's messy and not the way I wanted it to end, but it's shown me my strength.

And no, at this point, I couldn't trust either of them again farther than I could throw them.
