And on the lighter side...
I was thinking today about costumes and Halloween, and how I wish I could just go to a con...primarily so I could dress up. Heh.
I would like to get my sewing skills to the point where I'd be good at costuming. And today I was thinking of the costumes I'd like to make.
Now I have a Wish List of Costumes I'd Like To Make!
Death of the Endless--because she is cool. So very cool.
Delirium of the Endless--because she would be very fun.
Faye Valentine, Cowboy Bebop. Good things: colors are Crayola box colors, for the most part, and easy to find. The outfit does not look difficult. Bad things: Where the heck do those black straps go? and also, skin. Lots and lots of skin. I'd have to lose weight, no question.
Julia from Cowboy Bebop--She's the only one I don't have to wear a wig for!
Queen Amidala--this dress, from the final scene of The Phantom Menace. So beautiful. And a challenge!
Padme's picnic dress.--I would watch Attack of the Clones *just* to see this dress again sometimes.
