Well...this week sucked...

Not only did baby angel have the stomach bug, hubby and I both got it, as well. Wheee! I missed two days of work. I hate missing work. Especially when I'm sick. (You see, I actually *gasp* like my job!) I slept most of yesterday, and thank goodness I feel better today, so at least my weekend won't completely stink. I'm still a bit achy, but it's better than how I felt yesterday by a long shot.

Now, maybe I can get Chapter three of my Harry Potter fan fic done...

Fanfic in general is a mixed bag. Sometimes you get wonderful stuff. Sometimes you get dreck. My stuff is read and re-read and beta read before *anyone* gets to see it. I try to do my best.

Best of all, though...I'm writing my own stuff now. I just started writing something I think is going to turn into a very large book. I started with one scene and just kept writing. Right now I've got a fifty-page glorified outline. I have to do language and environmental studies, cause I want this thing to be *good*. Wish me luck! (But I know it'll take years.)
