Ah, that does not sound like fun! But glad you are back.
Yeah, one of the problems for me as she has started teaching the second degree is that I am not at all certain she would tolerate disagreements. I tend to not question because that isn't something I do, however I have been turning over a few things that I was "unsure" about.
I might have considered continuing with this class if there was a set time to be "done" but she's practically writing the class as we go, and I am not certain when it would end. She has mentioned that she wants both classes to be "coven-like" by the end of the coursework. My problem with that is that in a coven, ideally you should have "perfect love and perfect trust". How can I have that if there are one (or several!) people who have lied about Joe and I behind our backs or in front of our faces? Right now, S owns the store where my teacher holds classes, and I'm not feeling too good about Teacher's ability to remain impartial in the face of that.
Right now, I'm looking for reasons *to continue* with this teacher. Which sucks because I enjoy her as a person and she is very knowledgeable. I also enjoyed the people I was having classes *with*!
I'm sad about it right now, and Joe is pretty depressed about the whole thing. It'll take a while for things to even out so that we can deal with it. I'm just worried he'll give up his ideas for the youth group, because he has such good ideas that could make a difference for seeking young people.
Ha, just drew the Three of Swords in a one card draw. *flops over*
