I spent about three hours in the library today. I have found that it's the best way to wind down after a stressful week. I go and basically research 'freestyle'. I look up anything I happen to be interested in that week and read anything I want. I try not to go into the madness of the mall or shopping or anything. It's MommyTime (TM) and it's all mine!

Like sinking into a warm bath of words. Ahhhh...bliss!

Oh, yes. I went in to work for a few hours yesterday and dropped in to the library between that and grocery shopping on the way home. There's just something about libraries that puts me in a very nice zone. Has done ever since I was a kid and the Bookmobile used to come to my neighbourhood every week. And, of course, all librarians are Special People. *smooch to jess and Crystal*

You get weekly MommyTime!?!?!?!? How'd you manage that?

And the library is a great place to go for some peace and quiet. :) Good idea!

I have a very nice husband who wants a non-grumpy wife for himself and a non-grumpy Mommy for our boy. Therefore, Mommy-Time (TM) was created. It's a good thing.

See, my husband wants a non-grumpy wife/Mummy as well, but his version of MommyTime is sending me to the laundramat to do laundry. He watches Alex... but while she's napping. If I take longer than an hour, he brings her down to me (though to give him a bit of credit, she does cry if she wakes up and I'm not there).
